Abstract submissions instructions

Submission of abstracts should be done via the conference web site, as described below. Do not submit an abstract more than once. There is no limits to the number of abstracts an author may submit. The text of the abstract must have less than 350 words. The deadline for abstract submission is June 30, 2009.

For abstract submission it is required to register first here,    and the abstract form will become available after completing the first of the two pages in the web-based abstract submission form.

Page 1 requires to provide the contact information of the corresponding author.

Page 2 requires to provide the abstract related information. That is:

• The title of the abstract (maximum length 200 characters).
• The name of the author and co-authors, following this format: Surname1 N1, Afiliation1; Surname2 N2, Afiliation2; etc.
• The primary theme of your work (should be selected from the list provided).
• The presentation type (select either “poster”  or “oral” depending on the mode you desire to present. Note however that ONLY some submissions will be chosen for oral presentation. Submission selected for oral presentation will be notified after June 30. Maximum poster size: 90 x 120 cm.
• The text of the abstract. It must be less than 350 words. It might be better to prepare the abstract using a word processor, copy the text and then paste it in the text box provided.
• The (eventual) acknowledgement of founding institutions.

Please make sure to complete the mandatory fields denoted by an asterisk (*).

When all the required information has been entered in the submission form, please review it and then select the Submit button to submit your contact and abstract information.

Confirmation. After submitting the abstract, a confirmation of your abstract submission with your abstract ID number will be sent automatically to the e-mail address provided in the contact information section. Please keep this confirmation for future reference and for any correspondence with the conference organizers.

Abstract review and paper acceptance. The acceptance of the papers for poster and oral presentations will be based on the evaluation of submitted abstracts of 350 words. The evaluation of the submitted abstracts will be conducted by the scientific committee of the Symposia. Corresponding authors will receive notification of paper acceptance by middle of July 2009.
